It is not easy to tell if a bottle of wine or whisky is fake with fraudsters going to extraordinary lengths to counterfeit high end brands. It is estimated that 20% of all wine and more than a third of rare & collectible Whisky circling the globe is counterfeit, and the actual reality is that it’s likely to be more than that.

Meet Scott Evers
Scott Evers, a 25 year veteran in the wine and whisky industry and fine wine and whisky expert in his own right, has been professionally trained in the unique art of wine and whisky authentication.
Scott started his career as Head Sommelier at the famous Berowra Waters Inn Restaurant, before setting up a wine import and distribution company in the mid 2000’s. For 15 years he has been distributing iconic artisan producers from Australia & Europe to the top restaurants around the country.
In 2017 Scott commenced training in the art & science of wine and whisky authentication under the guidance of one of the world’s leading experts. Scott then closed down his wine import & distribution business to set up Wine & Whisky Provenance in early 2019 to embark on this unique & exciting career.
